Nova privacy notice

Last updated on May 21, 2026

Nova is operated by Proxima Technologies for managed Linux server monitoring. This notice summarizes the data types the V1 service is expected to handle during private beta.

Account and Tenant Data

Nova stores customer contact details, tenant names, user roles, Grafana organization mappings, billing status, limits, and usage records so users can access the correct tenant and dashboards.

Collector and Host Data

Nova stores collector identifiers, node names, enabled monitoring features, install token state, Alloy version, last seen timestamps, and status information for enrolled Linux hosts.

Metrics and Logs

Enrolled hosts send metrics and logs through the Nova gateway to managed storage. The current V1 product definition targets 1 year of metrics retention and 90 days of logs retention.

How Data Is Used

Data is used to provide monitoring dashboards, alerts, tenant access control, usage visibility, billing support, troubleshooting, and private beta support.

Operational Access

During private beta, Proxima staff may assist with tenant creation, onboarding, billing configuration, and support investigation. Customers should not configure log collection for secrets or sensitive files unless covered by an appropriate agreement.
